Danaher
Danaher’s Falcon 900B, tail N886DC, departed the Scenic Mesa Ranch Airport in Colorado on June 18 and landed at Leesburg Executive Airport, just outside Washington, D.C., three hours and thirteen minutes later. The trip from a remote airstrip in the Rockies back to the company’s home base suggests a short break between intense corporate activity.
The same week, Danaher closed its $9.9 billion acquisition of Masimo Corporation, a pulse-oximetry and patient-monitoring specialist. The transaction was announced in February, approved by Masimo shareholders in May, and finalized June 10, per the company’s own release [investors.danaher.com](https://investors.danaher.com/2026-06-10-Danaher-Completes-Acquisition-of-Masimo-Corporation). With Masimo now folded into Danaher’s diagnostics segment, the D.C.-based CEO Rainer Blair and his team have been managing integration work — and likely wanted to be in the office for it.
The flight home follows a pattern. In recent weeks, the Falcon has shuttled between Colorado and Virginia several times, including a westbound trip on June 8 to Seattle and a return on June 11. The Colorado ranch appears to be a recurring destination; the aircraft visited it on May 22, May 25, and again June 18. Business calls, and the jet returns.
