David Geffen flew from Palma de Mallorca Airport to Van Nuys Airport on June 10, 2026, aboard his Gulfstream G650 (N221DG). The nonstop flight took just under 12 hours, covering roughly 5,900 miles.
The trip comes days after Geffen’s superyacht Rising Sun was spotted off Mallorca hosting guests including Kris Jenner, Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi, per the Majorca Daily Bulletin. But back in Los Angeles, a personal legal chapter concluded: Geffen’s estranged husband, Donavan Michaels (David Armstrong), announced a settlement in their breach of contract lawsuit in November 2025, with final terms resolved this spring, as reported by The Hollywood Reporter and ARTnews. The absence of a prenuptial agreement turned the divorce into a multi-million-dollar dispute.
Geffen’s flight home follows a pattern of shuttling between Mallorca in summer and his Beverly Hills base. The billionaire co-founder of DreamWorks and Geffen Records has owned N221DG since 2015, using it primarily for transcontinental hops and Mediterranean escapes. With the legal dust settled and summer on the Mediterranean winding down, this return likely marks a shift back to business in Los Angeles.
