David Sacks
David Sacks flew from Sky Valley Ranch Airport to Fresno Yosemite International Airport on June 7, a 41-minute hop in his Cirrus SR22T, N75WW. The flight touched down at 21:27 local time after a 7,125-foot cruise over the Central Valley.
Sacks arrives in the Central Valley the same week controversy over his role as White House AI and Crypto Czar intensifies. As reported by Iowa Public Radio and WVTF on December 12, Sacks faces criticism that his ethics waivers allow him to shape AI policy while his firm, Craft Ventures, retains more than 400 investments in AI-linked companies. The executive order he helped craft, directing the Justice Department to challenge state AI laws, was signed by President Trump this week, drawing bipartisan pushback.
The Fresno landing breaks a pattern in Sacks' recent flights, which had largely looped between the San Francisco Bay Area and Southern California, including Carlsbad and Murrieta. Given his home base at KSFO (San Francisco), the short hop to Fresno suggests a meeting or event in the agricultural hub, though no specific public appearance or conference was confirmed in the arrival window.
