Deere & Co
Deere & Co flew from Des Moines to Quad City International Airport on the evening of June 11, a 33-minute hop in its Gulfstream G280. The aircraft, N282JD, departed Des Moines at 5:28 p.m. local time and touched down in Moline at 6:02 p.m.
The trip arrives the same week John Deere said it would hire 20 workers back to Davenport Works and 30 to Dubuque Works, per a report from [KWQC](https://www.kwqc.com/2026/06/11/john-deere-hiring-20-workers-back-davenport/). The recall follows a period of workforce reductions and is linked to rising demand for construction equipment, which the company also highlighted in its fiscal second-quarter earnings, as covered by [Yahoo Finance](https://finance.yahoo.com/markets/stocks/articles/deere-reaps-benefits-ieepa-tariff-113000563.html).
The shuttle between Des Moines and the Quad Cities is a familiar route for Deere & Co’s corporate aircraft, which regularly rotates executives among its manufacturing facilities in Iowa, Illinois, and Wisconsin. This flight came after an earlier trip from the Chicago area, suggesting a day of meetings at the Des Moines office before returning to the company’s Moline headquarters.
