Dominion Energy's Gulfstream G450 (N607D) was tracked flying from Charleston International Airport to Columbia Metropolitan Airport on June 24, a 29-minute hop arriving at 12:21 UTC. The aircraft's home base is Richmond, but the short intra-state leg suggests a business purpose in the state capital.

If aboard, Dominion Energy would arrive in Columbia the same week the South Carolina Public Service Commission issued its final siting certificate for the $5 billion Canadys gas plant, per the Post and Courier. The June 12 order formalized a unanimous May vote and cleared the largest new power plant approved in the state in years, though a 71-mile Kinder Morgan pipeline needed to fuel it has not yet been permitted.

The flight follows a pattern of recent activity in the Carolinas: the aircraft made multiple trips between Richmond and Columbia in recent weeks, including a June 18 leg from Lancaster County to Columbia. Dominion Energy and Santee Cooper each own half of the 2,180 MW project, expected online by 2033.
