If Elon Musk was aboard, he would arrive in Austin the same week SpaceX officially signed its 100% tax abatement agreement with Grimes County for the Terafab chip manufacturing center, a deal worth up to $119 billion, per KBTX. The trip also follows the company's debut bond issuance on June 23, which raised $25 billion but triggered a 16.4% stock selloff and exposed a projected negative cashflow of nearly $230 billion through 2029, according to IFR. Separately, a Musk-connected company purchased land and water infrastructure in Grimes County before the tax vote, as reported by KBTX on June 26.

The flight continues a pattern of shuttling between Starbase and Austin during a period of intense corporate activity.
