Elon Musk
Elon Musk's Gulfstream G650ER, tail N628TS, was tracked departing Acadiana Regional Airport in Louisiana at 11:32 p.m. on June 24 and arriving near Brownsville, Texas, just over an hour later — a coastal hop that lands the aircraft within a mile of SpaceX's Boca Chica launch facility.
If aboard, Elon Musk would return to Starbase the same week SpaceX officially signed a tax abatement agreement with Grimes County for the Terafab chipmaking joint venture, per a KBTX report on June 23. The $20–25 billion Tesla-SpaceX-xAI semiconductor project, unveiled in May, would anchor the company's latest supply-chain push in Central Texas — a venture that per Bloomberg would make three Musk-owned companies share a single fabrication line.
The flight follows a familiar pattern: N628TS shuttles regularly between Starbase, Austin, Silicon Valley, and Southern California. The Louisiana intermediate stop, however, is a departure from the usual direct routing — suggesting, if Musk were aboard, a meeting or refueling detour before the final leg home.
