Jake Paul
Jake Paul flew from Miami’s Dade Collier Training and Transition Airport to Hollywood Burbank Airport on Thursday evening, a 5-hour-15-minute trip aboard his Bombardier Global Express XRS, N801AD. The flight arrived just before 1 a.m. local time, placing Paul in Southern California at a pivotal moment for his company, Most Valuable Promotions.
The same week, MVP hosts its first-ever MMA event, headlined by the return of Ronda Rousey against Gina Carano, on Saturday at the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles, streaming on Netflix. Per Yahoo Sports, Paul’s co-promoter Nakisa Bidarian outlined a fighter pay structure that guarantees a minimum of $40,000 per athlete — significantly above typical UFC introductory salaries — and a revenue share north of 50%. Paul himself is still recovering from a broken jaw suffered in his December knockout loss to Anthony Joshua, telling Ariel Helwani this week that new scans will determine whether he can fight again, as covered by The Ring.
The trip follows a pattern: Paul’s aircraft flew from Puerto Rico to Miami two days earlier, and he now splits time between Austin and the island. For now, his focus is on the cage, not the ring.
