FMC Corp
FMC Corp's Bombardier Challenger 605, tail number N1088, was tracked departing Philadelphia International Airport late on June 23 and arriving at Perpignan-Rivesaltes Airport in southern France early on June 24, a flight of roughly seven and a half hours.
If FMC Corp was aboard, the aircraft would arrive in the region the same week the company faces a potential sale decision, with reports from The Philadelphia Inquirer and Philadelphia.Today indicating that a decision on whether to sell the agrochemical giant could come as soon as July. CEO Pierre Brondeau has confirmed active acquisition talks, per those reports, while also pursuing a turnaround plan centered on new herbicide technology and cost-cutting.
The flight to Perpignan follows a pattern of European movements for FMC Corp's aircraft, which visited the UK and Belgium earlier in June. Perpignan is not a known corporate hub for FMC Corp, but the timing suggests a private retreat or meeting as the company navigates what Brondeau has called a critical year.
