Honeywell flew from Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport to Henderson Executive Airport in the Las Vegas area on May 15, a 51-minute hop in its Falcon 8X. The short trip comes at a pivotal time for the conglomerate.
Earlier this week, Honeywell confirmed that the spin-off of its Honeywell Aerospace Technologies division will close on June 29, per FlightGlobal. The standalone company, to be based in Phoenix and trade under the ticker HONA, is preparing for an Investor Day in Phoenix on June 3. The Henderson visit may involve meetings with regional partners or customers as the separation process accelerates.
Honeywell has been shuffling its fleet among Charlotte, the Washington D.C. area, and Phoenix in recent days, with stops also in Columbus and Montreal. The May 15 flight to Henderson—a frequent gateway for business aviation—suggests the company is keeping a busy schedule of pre-spin-off consultations in the weeks ahead.
