Honeywell lands in Seattle the week its aerospace spinoff nears completion
The Falcon 8X flight from Las Vegas to Boeing Field comes as Honeywell prepares to spin off its aerospace division by June 29.

Honeywell flew from Henderson Executive Airport in Las Vegas to Boeing Field in Seattle on May 15, a 2-hour 7-minute hop in its Dassault Falcon 8X (tail N988H). The trip arrived just after midnight local time, touching down at King County International Airport.
The same week, Honeywell is putting the finishing touches on the separation of its Honeywell Aerospace Technologies division, which is expected to close on June 29, per a FlightGlobal report. The company filed the required Form 10 registration statement with the SEC in April, as covered by Flying Magazine, laying out the structure of the standalone business. A visit to Boeing Field—home to Honeywell’s largest commercial airframe customer—suggests the trip was likely about aligning with Boeing on the transition, though Honeywell has not commented on the flight.
The Seattle stop follows a pattern of recent Honeywell travel between its aerospace hub in Phoenix and key industry locations. The same aircraft had flown from Phoenix to Henderson earlier on May 15, and previous legs this month included trips to New York, Montreal, and Washington D.C.—consistent with the roadshow of a company spinning off a $17 billion division.
