Honeywell flew its Falcon 8X (N988H) from Stellar Airpark near Phoenix to Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport on 18 May, landing just after 5:27 pm Eastern. The 3-hour-48-minute trip followed a string of West Coast and Midwest hops earlier in the week, including a 15 May stop in Seattle.
The same day, Honeywell was facing a critical milestone in its plan to spin off Honeywell Aerospace as a standalone public company. Per its 23 April investor update, the conglomerate aims to close the separation on 29 June, pending board approval — a timeline that requires continued regulatory and financial coordination in Washington. The division, which generated $17.4 billion in sales in 2025, is set to trade on Nasdaq under “HONA,” with an investor day scheduled for 3 June in Phoenix.
Kapur, who has been reshaping Honeywell’s portfolio — selling warehouse and workflow solutions and settling Flexjet litigation in January — appears to be shuttling between Phoenix (home of the aerospace division) and Washington as the spinoff enters its final stretch. The 18 May arrival at Reagan, rather than Dulles, suggests meetings inside the Beltway rather than a routine headquarters visit.
