Honeywell's Falcon 8X, tail N988H, landed near Charlotte just after 1:24 p.m. ET on June 4, returning from Cashmere-Dryden Airport in Washington State. The four-hour, 18-minute trip capped a quick two-day swing through the Pacific Northwest, following a June 3 flight from Phoenix to Seattle.
The same week the jet touched down in Charlotte, Honeywell CEO Vimal Kapur is preparing to address a major industrial automation conference in Chicago later this month, per the company's own events calendar. Kapur has been promoting the company's push into AI-driven factory software and sustainable aviation technologies, a shift that has drawn investor attention since the firm moved its headquarters to Charlotte in 2024.
The recent flight pattern shows Honeywell's leadership frequently shuttling between the Phoenix area (close to the company's aerospace campus in Arizona) and the Washington, D.C. region, where regulatory and defense contacts are concentrated. This Northwest detour, however, suggests a visit to a supplier partner or a remote work site — a quiet but purposeful side trip for a company that runs a four-aircraft fleet built for global reach.
