John Travolta
John Travolta flew from Shannon, Ireland, to Westchester County, New York, on May 18, 2026, piloting his Boeing 737-300 BBJ (N327JT) on a seven-hour, 49-minute transatlantic crossing. The flight arrived at a private airfield near Greenwich, Connecticut, where Travolta keeps a residence.
The trip lands the same week Travolta’s former Boeing 707 — a luxury jet he donated to the Historical Aircraft Restoration Society nearly a decade ago — arrived by ship at Port Kembla, Australia, per ABC News on May 13. The fuselage, wings, and tail were unloaded in Wollongong after two months at sea from Georgia, and will be rebuilt for display at Shellharbour Airport. Travolta has committed to attending the official unveiling, per the same report.
The Shannon-to-Westchester leg follows a busy week of repositioning flights: Travolta flew from California to Ireland on May 12-13, then to the French Riviera and back before heading to New York. The actor also completed simulator training on a Bombardier Global Express in early May, per Gossip Herald, adding a new type rating to a fleet that already includes a Boeing 707, 747, and 737.
