If Joseph Tsai was aboard, the flight would arrive the same week he spoke at the VivaTech conference in Paris.

Joseph Tsai
Joseph Tsai's Gulfstream G700 (VP-COR) was tracked flying from Newark Liberty International Airport to Tivat Airport in Montenegro on June 28, 2026, a 7-hour 41-minute transatlantic hop. The aircraft had crossed from Anchorage to Newark just days earlier, part of a broader movement pattern that began with a departure from Hong Kong on June 19.
If aboard, Joseph Tsai would arrive in the Adriatic just after a highly publicized appearance at the VivaTech conference in Paris, where he spoke on June 18 about Alibaba's AI strategy, per the AI Innovator. During that talk, Tsai argued that artificial intelligence represents a $50 trillion total addressable market, far larger than enterprise software, and defended the massive infrastructure spending underway across the industry. The Tivat landing — a known leisure destination for global business figures — would be a plausible post-conference detour.
Tsai, who divides his time between Hong Kong and New York, has been crisscrossing the globe in recent weeks. Before Newark, his aircraft had traveled from Hong Kong to Anchorage, then to New York, following earlier hops from Taipei to Hong Kong and a European swing through Berlin, Amsterdam, Zurich, and Munich. The pattern fits a calendar heavy with Alibaba board duties, NBA franchise obligations, and investment meetings — but this particular leg is one of the few that ends near the Montenegrin coast.
