Luciano Hang flew from Garibaldi, Rio Grande do Sul, back to Navegantes, Santa Catarina, on June 7, 2026, in his Bombardier Global 6000 (PP-LHG), a flight that lasted just over a minute at low altitude. The brief hop followed a week that saw Hang inaugurate a new Havan megastore in Garibaldi, a R$ 100 million investment that created 200 jobs, per CPG Click Oil and Gas. The same weekend, Hang shared video of a risky crosswind landing at Navegantes during a storm with 60 km/h gusts, calling it “pousar com emoção” and praising his pilots Jean and Balke, as reported by abc+.
The Garibaldi opening, on June 6, is part of Havan’s push to reach 200 megastores by the end of 2026, with Hang personally greeting customers and posing for photos. The store, located on BR-470, features the chain’s signature White House facade and Statue of Liberty replica. Hang’s recent flights show a pattern of regional hops: on May 30 he flew from Porto Alegre to Santiago, Chile, and on May 29 from Navegantes to Porto Alegre, likely scouting or attending other openings.
Hang’s aviation fleet, including the Global 6000 valued at R$ 250 million, is central to his business model, allowing him to visit far-flung stores from Rio Branco to Austin, Texas. This week, however, the focus was closer to home: a new store in Serra Gaúcha and a white-knuckle landing that underscored the risks of flying through Brazil’s summer storms. The Bombardier Global 8000, a potential new acquisition spotted at Navegantes on May 24, suggests Hang may soon upgrade his ride, per ND Mais.
