Luciano Hang flew his Bombardier Global 6000 from Treviso, Italy, to Kraków, Poland, on June 20, a 59-minute hop across the Alps. The short leg follows a longer European swing that began in Tenerife and continued through northern Italy.
The trip lands Hang in Central Europe the same week Havan reaffirmed its goal of reaching 200 megastores by the end of 2026, per a company announcement. Hang has publicly criticized Brazil’s proposed labor reform as a threat to retail, yet continues to invest heavily — most recently a R$ 100 million store in Garibaldi, Rio Grande do Sul, that created 200 jobs.
Kraków is not among Hang’s usual destinations, but the visit fits a pattern: the businessman is increasingly looking abroad. In late June, he is scheduled to travel to Paraguay to meet President Santiago Peña and explore internationalization, as reported by Folha de S.Paulo. The Kraków stop may signal broader European ambitions for the Havan empire.
