Marcel Boekhoorn
Marcel Boekhoorn flew from Amsterdam to Florence on June 19, 2026, arriving at Peretola airport aboard his Dassault Falcon 900, PH-NDK. The one-hour-28-minute hop from Schiphol to the Tuscan capital placed him in the region the same week Italian prosecutors officially filed money laundering charges against him and his associates at Ramphastos Investments, as first reported by InView.
The charges, covered by InView and the Kartoteka news portal, stem from Ramphastos's 2017 acquisition of an 80 percent stake in Talenta Labs, a casino software firm. Prosecutors allege Boekhoorn used 2.5 million euros originating from criminal activities linked to Paolo Tavarelli, one of the founders of SKS365 — a company built with mafia money that Ramphastos had previously bought for 158 million euros. Boekhoorn's company has denied irregularities and said it regrets the investment.
Florence is not an obvious legal venue for a Dutch billionaire fighting Italian money-laundering charges — Milan or Rome would be more typical — but Boekhoorn has often used his jet to visit northern Italian cities. His flight history shows a June 3 trip from Rotterdam to Verona, and a June 4 leg from Verona to Antalya. The Falcon's arrival in Tuscany suggests either legal meetings or personal business; Boekhoorn, appointed a Knight of the Order of Orange-Nassau in 2024, has maintained a broad European travel pattern throughout the unfolding case.
