Michael Dell
Michael Dell flew from Devil’s Garden Strip, a private airstrip in Florida’s Everglades, to Tampa International Airport on June 19, a 33-minute hop aboard his Gulfstream G650ER, N228ZD. The brief flight, tracked by Celebplanes, touched down in the early afternoon.
The trip comes the same week Dell Technologies closed its best month on Wall Street since its 2018 return to the public market, per the LA Times Now. On May 29, shares jumped after the company reported AI server revenue up 757% year over year and secured a $9.7 billion Pentagon contract to consolidate Microsoft software licenses across the U.S. military, as covered by Yahoo Finance. President Donald Trump, who holds up to $5.1 million in Dell stock, has publicly urged Americans to “go out and buy a Dell” on two occasions this year.
Dell maintains a low public profile around personal travel, but the pattern of recent flights — including a June 17 hop from an unidentified location to the Florida coast — suggests he may be spending time at a Gulf Coast property or meeting with business associates in the region. The billionaire, who controls roughly 40% of Dell Technologies’ voting power, frequently shuttles between his Texas, Hawaii, and New York residences.
