Netflix flew from Heglar Creek Airport near Driggs, Idaho, to Santa Barbara Municipal Airport on Wednesday evening, a 1-hour-36-minute hop touching down at 4:33 p.m. local time. Heglar Creek serves the Jackson Hole and Teton Valley region, a popular retreat for high-net-worth travelers.
The trip appears to be personal: Netflix’s 2026 proxy statement permits co-CEOs Ted Sarandos and Greg Peters and their families to use corporate aircraft for personal travel, with Sarandos reporting $532,934 in personal aircraft costs last year. The flight lands the same week many executives are wrapping up spring vacations in the mountain West, per seasonal flight patterns observed by celebplanes.
Santa Barbara is not among Netflix’s recurrent business destinations—listed as Atlanta, Toronto, Burbank, and London—but the area is home to several high-profile residences. Private flights from resort airports back to coastal California are a common pattern for Netflix leadership, as seen in recent trips from Teterboro to Santa Barbara in May.
