PNC Financial flew from Philadelphia to Pittsburgh on May 12, landing at Allegheny County Airport at 4:48 p.m. local time aboard its Bombardier Challenger 300, tail number N412DL. The 51-minute hop from KPHL to KAGC came on the same day the bank's executives were likely returning from meetings in the Philadelphia area, where PNC Financial maintains a significant corporate and institutional banking presence.
The trip lands the same week PNC Financial is riding momentum from its first-quarter earnings, which saw revenue climb to $6.2 billion after closing its $4.1 billion acquisition of Colorado's FirstBank Holding Company on Jan. 5, per American Banker. CEO Bill Demchak said the year was "off to a great start," and the bank raised its 2026 loan and net interest income guidance. The FirstBank conversion is slated for June, making this a busy period for integration planning.
This flight follows a pattern of short-haul trips for PNC Financial's fleet. In the past two days, the same aircraft flew from Pittsburgh to Philadelphia and back, and from Pittsburgh to New York's Teterboro. The bank's four-aircraft fleet—including a Global 5000 and two Challenger 300s—serves a network that stretches from its Pittsburgh HQ to recurring destinations including Chicago, Charlotte, Miami, Austin, and San Francisco.
