PNC Financial flew from Boston Logan to Teterboro on May 13, 2026, a 70-minute hop in a Bombardier Challenger 300. The same week, PNC Financial's Chief Financial Officer Robert Q. Reilly was scheduled to discuss the bank's performance and strategy at the Bank of America Financial Services Conference in New York City, as reported by WPXI. The trip follows a busy day of flying for the bank's fleet, which earlier shuttled between Pittsburgh, North Carolina, and Boston.
The conference appearance comes as PNC Financial integrates its $4.1 billion acquisition of FirstBank Holding Company, a deal that closed in January and has already boosted revenue to $6.2 billion in the first quarter, per American Banker. Reilly told the conference that the acquisition is shaping up better than expected, largely due to cross-selling opportunities. The flight to Teterboro puts executives within easy reach of Manhattan for investor meetings and industry events.
This is a familiar route for PNC Financial, which regularly flies to the New York area from its Pittsburgh base. The bank's fleet of four aircraft, including two Challenger 300s, supports a national expansion strategy that CEO Bill Demchak has described as a matter of "long-term survivability." With the FirstBank deal adding scale in Colorado and Arizona, and a $2 billion branch expansion underway, the bank's travel patterns reflect its ambition to compete coast to coast.
