The trip lands the Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE in the UK the same week Godolphin, the global thoroughbred operation he founded in 1992, will be finalising its entries for Royal Ascot, which begins on June 16. Royal Ascot is the flat-racing calendar's premier meeting, and Godolphin regularly fields multiple runners.
