Shell
Shell flew from Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt, to Rotterdam, Netherlands, on May 28, 2026, landing at Rotterdam The Hague Airport just before midnight in a flight lasting nearly five hours. The company's Cayman Islands-registered Dassault Falcon 7X (tail number VQ-BXH) reached a maximum altitude of 43,025 feet en route.
The trip coincides with the start of the annual Offshore Energy Exhibition & Conference, taking place this week at Rotterdam Ahoy, per the event's official program published earlier this month. The conference is one of Europe's largest gatherings for the offshore energy sector, with Shell executives frequently appearing as speakers and panelists. Shell, the global energy and petrochemicals major, has a strong presence in the Netherlands, including its Rotterdam-based Pernis refinery and a large corporate office in The Hague.
The flight from Sharm El Sheikh suggests a stopover or prior business in the Red Sea region, though no corporate events there are publicly listed this week. The arrival at a major energy conference venue, however, provides a clear explanation for the timing of the trip.
