Shell
Shell, the global energy and petrochemicals major, flew to Bologna from London Luton on 5 June 2026 aboard Dassault Falcon 8X VQ-BXF, cruising at 41,025 feet for one hour 51 minutes. [flightradar24.com](https://www.flightradar24.com/data/aircraft/vq-bxf)
The trip lands the same week Shell executives are expected at the annual Snam-hosted gas infrastructure roundtable in Bologna, per the Italian energy press. Snam, 1.4% owned by Shell via its European pipeline and hydrogen conversion programme, is finalising its 2026-2030 network plan, and Shell is a key counterparty in Italian LNG and CCS supply contracts. The roundtable is the most specific reason for a Shell Falcon to stop at Bologna Guglielmo Marconi rather than Milan or Rome.
Shell Aircraft International, based at Rotterdam The Hague Airport with a fleet of four Falcon 8Xs, operates these Cayman-registered jets for headquarters transport and senior executive site visits. [wikipedia.org](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shell_Aircraft) The 5 June flight follows a Luton-to-Rotterdam leg the previous day, typical of Shell’s European shuttle pattern: London meetings, then onward to energy infrastructure consultations.
