SpaceX flew from Brownsville South Padre Island International Airport to Los Angeles International Airport on May 23, 2026, a 3-hour, 1-minute hop aboard its Boeing 737-800, tail N154TS. The aircraft reached 36,025 feet and a top speed of 465 knots before touching down at KLAX just before 6 a.m. local time.
This was not a one-off executive dash but a routine employee shuttle. Per [Simple Flying](https://simpleflying.com/spacex-private-jets-guide/), the 737-800 — registered to Falcon Aviation Holdings LLC at SpaceX's Hawthorne address — primarily moves staff between Los Angeles and Brownsville, home to the Starbase facility. The flight pattern over the preceding week confirms the cadence: seven round trips between KLAX and KBRO since May 14, with no layovers exceeding a day.
The grey-and-black 737, acquired from Air China in August 2023 and noted for its lack of winglets and rooftop antennas, has logged 116 flights and 276 hours in 2024 alone, according to [Ground Control](https://grndcntrl.net/falconlanding). It is a workhorse for a company that operates across California, Texas, Florida, and Washington — moving engineers and technicians, not executives, to keep Starship and Starlink on schedule.
