State Farm
State Farm flew from Manchester, New Hampshire to its Bloomington, Illinois headquarters on Friday, May 15, touching down at Central Illinois Regional Airport at 5:14 PM local time after a two-hour flight in its Dassault Falcon 50EX.
The return to central Illinois comes the same week California regulators announced a major enforcement action against State Farm, accusing the insurer of widespread mishandling of claims from the 2025 Los Angeles wildfires. According to a California Department of Insurance release, investigators found 398 violations of state law in a sample of 220 claims, including slow investigations, underpayments, and repeated adjuster reassignments. The department is seeking millions in penalties, per Bloomberg. Separately, State Farm is managing claims from April tornadoes in Illinois and Missouri, where it has received over 17,000 claims from severe storms alone, as reported by WGLT and the company's newsroom.
State Farm's fleet has been active this month, with multiple trips to Las Vegas earlier in the week. Today's flight from Manchester, a city often used as a gateway to Boston, returns the company's executives to Bloomington as the mutual insurer navigates regulatory scrutiny and a busy catastrophe season.
