Tiger Woods
Tiger Woods's Gulfstream V (N517TW) was tracked departing Teterboro Airport at 3:51 p.m. on June 24 and arriving at Sarasota Bradenton International Airport just over two hours later, according to flight data. The aircraft had flown to Teterboro the previous day from the Connecticut area, where it had been positioned since June 22.
If Tiger Woods was aboard, he would have arrived in Florida the day after making his first public appearance since his March DUI arrest. On June 23, Woods introduced PGA Tour CEO Brian Rolapp in Cromwell, Connecticut, to unveil the tour's new competitive format beginning in 2028, per a USA Today report. The appearance was his first since entering a Swiss rehabilitation facility in April.
The flight continues a pattern of movement between Switzerland, Florida, and the Northeast as Woods balances his recovery, ongoing legal proceedings, and his role as chair of the PGA Tour's Future Competitions Committee. His aircraft had returned from Switzerland to Florida on June 12, made a brief trip to the Bahamas, then flew to Connecticut for the announcement before this latest leg to Sarasota.
