The event was held in the Bucha district of the Kyiv region, and the founder of defense manufacturer First Contact, Valerii Borovyk, told Ukrainian outlets that the site was hosting a weapons exhibition at the time of the strike. The Kyiv Regional Military Administration confirmed the location was a private training ground where an event was taking place, and that there were casualties.
