Travis Kalanick
Travis Kalanick flew from Austin to San Francisco on May 17, arriving at KSFO just after 2:30 a.m. local time aboard his Gulfstream G650ER, N10100. The 3-hour-19-minute trip came less than five months after he confirmed his relocation to Texas on December 18, 2025, a move timed to avoid California’s proposed billionaire wealth tax, per Fox Business.
Kalanick lands in the Bay Area the same week his robotics company Atoms — formerly City Storage Systems — continues to court industrial clients in mining, transport, and food service. As reported by the Austin American-Statesman in March, Kalanick is exploring partnerships for Atoms, including a potential tie-up with Uber. The trip suggests he is still working closely with the Bay Area tech ecosystem despite his Texas residency.
The flight follows a pattern of frequent visits to Kalanick’s known San Francisco residence. In the past two weeks alone, he flew from New York to Los Angeles to Milwaukee and back, then to Austin, before heading to San Francisco. The itinerary reflects a busy schedule of investor meetings and business development for his ghost-kitchen and robotics ventures.
