Warner Bros Discovery's Falcon 900EX circuits Charleston as merger approval nears
If aboard, the brief local flight comes the same week the Paramount–Warner Bros merger hurtles toward EU sign-off.

Warner Bros Discovery's Dassault Falcon 900EX (N304K) was tracked performing a short local circuit at Charleston International Airport on June 29, departing and landing at the same field after a brief 200-foot altitude hop. The aircraft, which recently shuttled between the Bahamas and North Carolina, did not leave the Charleston area.
If anyone was aboard, the timing coincides with a crucial week for the company: the European Commission is expected to approve Paramount's $111 billion takeover of Warner Bros Discovery by July 7, per a report in Variety. State attorneys general, including California's Rob Bonta, continue to oppose the deal, but the EU's green light would clear one of the last major regulatory hurdles.
The local Charleston movement is an outlier for Warner Bros Discovery's fleet — the company's Falcon 900EX and a newer Gulfstream 650 are primarily used for cross-country hops between New York, Los Angeles, Atlanta, and the Bahamas, where CEO David Zaslav is known to keep a residence. Brief stops like this often indicate crew changes or minor maintenance before a longer leg.
