Diego Della Valle

Diego Della Valle, born 1953, turned his grandfather Filippo's shoemaking workshop in Casette d'Ete, in the Marche, into Tod's Group — the luxury house behind Tod's, Hogan, Roger Vivier and Fay, listed in Milan since 2000. He and his brother Andrea owned ACF Fiorentina from 2002 until selling to Rocco Commisso in 2019, and in 2011 he personally funded the roughly €25M restoration of the Colosseum, one of the largest private contributions to Italian heritage on record.

I-ADVD is a Gulfstream G550 (GV-SP, hex 3004C7) on the Italian register, managed by Sirio, the Milan business-aviation operator that handles a large share of privately held Italian bizjets. As with most European registrations there is no public registry row naming a beneficial owner, so the attribution runs through the tail itself — the ADVD suffix reads as Della Valle's own initials — and through Sirio's operator filing. That is inference, not record.

His 59-metre Altair III is tracked separately by our sister site, so the profile carries the yacht alongside the jet.

Milano Linate is Sirio's base and the working assumption for this airframe; the Marche field at Falconara is the closer option to the Tod's factory and may prove to be the real anchor. Neither is observed yet — this is a new entry with no tracked flights, so the pattern will come from ADS-B rather than from expectation.
