Boston Scientific
Boston Scientific flew from Paris-Le Bourget to Rhode Island T. F. Green on May 20, 2026, a 8-hour 28-minute trip in its Challenger 650, tail N650BS. The aircraft had reached Paris on May 18, per flight history.
The trip coincides with the company’s heavy presence at the EuroPCR conference in Paris, where, per a BioWorld report on May 17, Boston Scientific touted data for its second-generation Acurate Neo2 TAVR valve. The same week, the company disclosed in an SEC filing on May 18 that it had invested $1.5 billion for a 33.75% stake in MiRus LLC, a developer of a competing TAVR system, with an option to acquire the TAVR subsidiary outright for $3 billion more. Mike Mahoney, chairman and CEO, likely attended both the conference and the deal closing.
Rhode Island is not Boston Scientific’s corporate base (Marlborough, Mass., is closer to Hanscom Field), but T. F. Green offers a convenient arrival for executives returning from Europe. The company’s Challenger made four trips to the New York area and two to Minneapolis in the two weeks prior, a typical pattern of investor meetings and supply-chain visits for a medical device giant.
