Discount Tire
Discount Tire's Dassault Falcon 900LX, N1960H, was tracked flying from Dry Pen Airport (16CO) to Scottsdale Airport (KSDL) on June 30, touching down after a one-hour hop from Colorado. The aircraft, whose tail number nods to the company's 1960 founding, operates out of the Phoenix area and is registered to the Reinalt-Thomas Corporation.
If Discount Tire executives were aboard, they would return to headquarters the same week the company kicks off National Tire Safety Week, per a PRNewswire release. From June 29 to July 4, Discount Tire is offering free tire pressure checks, tread inspections, and rotations at over 1,275 locations across the U.S., ahead of the busy Independence Day travel period. The campaign, which also includes up to $80 in instant savings on select tires through July 9, aligns with the company's push to capture summer road-trip business.
The flight follows a busy week of movements: the Falcon had previously shuttled between Scottsdale, Colorado, and California, with stops in Albuquerque and Lubbock. The aircraft's return to base suggests a pause in the corporate travel schedule, possibly to regroup for the holiday push — or simply to rotate tires.
