Exxon Mobil flew its Gulfstream G650ER, N100A, from Houston Bush Intercontinental to Horseshoe Bay Resort Airpark on June 19, a 52-minute hop into the Texas Hill Country. The company’s sole corporate jet arrived just after 4 p.m. local time.
The same week, Exxon Mobil’s senior vice president Neil Chapman warned that crude oil prices could hit $160 per barrel as global inventories hit “unheard of” lows, per Fox Business. The warning came the same day shareholders approved redomiciling the company from New Jersey to Texas, a move CEO Darren Woods said aligns with the state’s regulatory environment. Meanwhile, the Strait of Hormuz reopened after a nearly four-month closure, but CNN reports oil supplies remain critically depleted.
The flight continues a pattern of short Texas hops for N100A: trips to Dallas Love Field on May 27 and May 8, and to Austin-Bergstrom on June 1. Horseshoe Bay, a resort community about 70 miles from Exxon Mobil’s Spring headquarters, is a plausible site for private meetings or executive retreats — no public appearances or events were confirmed at the time of landing.
