Michael Dell's Gulfstream G700, tail N6D, was tracked flying from Ellison Onizuka Kona International Airport in Hawaii to Austin-Bergstrom International Airport on June 29, a 6-hour, 20-minute transpacific hop that arrived shortly before sunset in Texas.
If Michael Dell was aboard, the return from his Kukio-area residence would place him in Austin the same week his company's $9.7 billion Pentagon software contract continues to draw scrutiny. As reported by the LA Times Now, government ethics watchdogs have questioned President Trump's February Dell stock purchases and the timing of the contract award. Dell Technologies' largest individual shareholder, Michael Dell has been a prominent Trump ally, attending White House roundtables and contributing $6.25 billion to Trump Accounts in December.
The flight follows a pattern of recent long-haul movements by Dell's fleet. Earlier this week, aircraft N6D was tracked on a series of flights over the Atlantic and Spain, suggesting an extended European itinerary before the Hawaii-to-Texas leg. Dell, who controls roughly 40% of Dell Technologies' voting power, maintains homes in Austin, Hawaii, and New York — making the return to his primary Texas base a plausible end to a multi-continent journey.
