Michael Dell's Gulfstream G650ER, N228ZD, was tracked flying from Ibiza to Funchal's Cristiano Ronaldo Airport on June 25, a 1-hour-40-minute hop across the western Mediterranean. The aircraft had repositioned from New York to Madeira days earlier, according to flight data.
If aboard, Michael Dell would land on the Atlantic archipelago the same month his company's $9.7 billion Pentagon contract — awarded June 15 — continues to attract scrutiny. Per Euronews, ethics watchdogs have questioned President Trump's Dell stock purchases in February, weeks before he publicly praised the company and the contract was announced.
The short flight from Ibiza — a summer playground for the wealthy — to Madeira suggests a leisure detour. Dell, who controls roughly 40% of Dell Technologies' voting power, maintains homes in Austin, Hawaii, and New York but has no known residence on the island. The trip follows a pattern of travel between his properties and holiday spots, with his aircraft having flown from Austin to Hawaii earlier in June.
